Responsibilities
As a Packaging Supervisor, you will be leading a team at the strategic business unit to ensure efficient execution of production plans while maintaining high quality standards. Your responsibilities include:
- People Management: Coach team members on operational and technical tasks.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks, analyze trends, and rectify quality issues to maintain the highest standards.
- Maintenance Oversight: Oversee and participate in maintenance activities, ensuring that equipment is in top condition for production.
- Operational Excellence: Manage materials, resolve production issues, and ensure adherence to operational standards for optimal productivity.
Who Are They Looking For?
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or a relevant 3-year technical/production tertiary qualification.
- Preferably an Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical).
Experience:
- At least 3 years of technical and leadership experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
Skills:
- Proven leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a logical approach to challenges.
- A self-starter with high energy levels and a keen attention to detail.
