Scholarship Benefit

The scholarship provides a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the entire duration of the recipient’s course at ECU. This substantial discount can make studying at ECU much more affordable.

Are You Eligible?

Here’s what you need to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • you must have completed, or be about to complete, one of these programs in Australia by August 13, 2024:
    1. An English course lasting at least 5 weeks
    2. A Study Abroad or Student Exchange program
    3. A University Foundation program
    4. Secondary schooling
    5. A certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, or associate degree at any Vocational Education and Training provider
    6. An undergraduate or postgraduate course equivalent to ECU’s 60 Credit Points
  • You must be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen).
  • You need to have received an offer to study at one of ECU’s campuses (Joondalup, Mount Lawley, or South West) between March 6, 2023, and August 13, 2024.
  • You should not have received a COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) for any ECU course before March 6, 2023.
  • You must meet the admission requirements (https://www.ecu.edu.au/degrees/international#summerSchool) for your chosen course and start your studies in Australia.

What Courses Can You Choose?

This scholarship applies to many undergraduate and postgraduate courses (https://www.ecu.edu.au/scholarships/details/2023-and-2024-international-australian-alumni-scholarship) at ECU, except for some specific programs in areas like Nursing, Midwifery, and Performing Arts.

How to Apply

It’s easy to apply:

  1. Apply for an ECU course through one of ECU’s Authorized Agents(https://eap.ascentone.com/ecu) or directly via the ECU Online Application Portal (https://www.ecu.edu.au/future-students/applying).
  2. You don’t need to fill out a separate application for the scholarship. If you get accepted into your course, you’ll automatically be considered for the scholarship by Admissions Office.
