About the Program

From September to December 2024, the Young Professionals Program offers you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in exciting projects and initiatives. Whether you’re compiling large datasets, writing insightful articles, or participating in informative webinars, each task is designed to enhance your skills and deepen your understanding of international dynamics.

Who Should Apply?

We’re looking for driven individuals who are currently pursuing or have recently completed studies in fields like international relations, Asia studies, international economics, public policy, journalism, and more. Here are some skills that could strengthen your application:

  • Proficiency in handling open-source data and Excel.
  • Experience in analyzing quantitative data and presenting findings clearly.
  • Knowledge about the Indo-Pacific region through studies, research, or personal experience.
  • Competency in monitoring diverse media sources for specific news.
  • Ability to produce engaging graphs, charts, and infographics.
  • Experience in writing detailed policy analyses and managing public relations or branding.

Program Benefits

As a full-time participant (40 hours per week), you’ll receive a monthly stipend of $2,000, adjusted for taxes and deductions. If you’re part-time, the stipend will be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, your participation could potentially earn university credits, depending on your school’s policy.
