HAN University Scholarships 2024 in Netherlands

Types of Scholarships Available

For Bachelor Students:

  • HAN NL Scholarship: Receive up to €12,500.
  • Honors Scholarship: If you didn’t receive a scholarship in your first year, you could be eligible for up to €7,500 based on your academic excellence.

For Master Students:

  • HAN NL Scholarship: Eligible students can receive €5,000.
  • Honors Scholarship: A once-off payment of €2,500 for students who excel academically but didn’t get a scholarship in their first semester.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a HAN scholarship, you need to:

  • Be a non-EU/EEA national.
  • Not have previously studied at a higher education institution in the Netherlands.
  • Have been accepted into a full-time, English-taught program at HAN.
  • Meet the English language requirement (IELTS score of at least 6.5, TOEFL iBT score of at least 90, or a Cambridge Certificate).

How to Apply

  1. Program Application: First, apply and get accepted into one of HAN’s degree programs.
  2. Scholarship Application Preparation: After this, draft a motivation letter, create a short introduction video about yourself, and update your CV (https://www.hanuniversity.com/en/study-and-living/scholarships/).
  3. Submission: Follow the link in your invitation email to submit your scholarship application.
  4. Notification: You will receive an email notification about the scholarship decision.
  5. Acceptance: If awarded, accept the scholarship by following the instructions in your notification email.

Important Dates

  • October 1, 2024: Deadline to apply for a degree program starting in February.
  • October 19,2024, 12 pm CEST: Deadline to submit your scholarship application for the February intake.
  • November 3, 2024: Notification of scholarship awards for the February start.
