Who Can Apply?

1# For Doctoral Students: Doctoral Degree Programs are supported by two types of scholarships:

• Type A: This scholarship covers your tuition and accommodation fees and includes a one-time living stipend of CNY 5,000. You may be eligible if you are:
  1. An outstanding JSU student moving from a master’s to a doctoral degree.
  2. A nominee from “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities.
  3. A graduate from one of the top 1000 global universities as recognized by leading rankings.
  4. A graduate from top-tier Chinese universities or leading academic disciplines.
• Type B: This scholarship provides tuition and accommodation for all other admitted doctoral students

2# For Master Students: Master’s Degree Programs also feature two scholarship categories:

• Type A: Provides a generous amount of CNY 25,000, targeting:
  1. Exceptional JSU students advancing from a bachelor’s to a master’s degree.
  2. Graduates from top global or first-class Chinese universities.
• Type B: Grants CNY 20,000 to all other admitted master’s students.

3# For Undergraduate Students: Bachelor’s Degree Programs help you start your university journey with financial support:

• Type A: Grants CNY 10,000 for the first year only, aimed at students enrolled in new programs such as Material Science & Engineering and others (https://oec.ujs.edu.cn/en/SCHOLARSHIPS/JSU_Presidential_Scholarship.htm).
• Type B: Awards CNY 10,000 annually to students from a diverse list of countries, including Brazil, Germany, and Russia, among others.

Terms and Conditions

• Age Limits: Under 25 for Bachelor’s, under 30 for Master’s, and under 40 for Doctoral programs.
• Renewal: Annual evaluation for Master’s and Doctoral programs with potential increase or decrease in scholarship value.
• Restrictions: Not applicable if already receiving another scholarship.
• Course Language: Only for English-taught programs. Chinese-taught programs receive a 40% tuition discount.
