Who Can Apply?

- Not have had extensive previous stays in Japan.
- Currently hold a job in your home country and plan to return there after the fellowship.
Fellowship Perks
As a fellow, you’ll receive:
- A monthly allowance of JPY 220,000 for research and living expenses.
- A JPY 120,000 arrival fund to help settle in Japan.

You are free to choose a host institution in Japan (universities, national research institutions, or the equivalent
facilities in private sector) to carry out your research.
