Categories & Prizes
- Gold Award: Awarded to the best manga work. The winner will receive a certificate, a trophy, and a trip to Japan for about 7 days to attend the award ceremony.
- Silver Award: Given to three outstanding works. Each winner gets a certificate, a trophy, and also an invitation to the ceremony in Japan.
- Bronze Award: About eleven works will receive this award, coming with certificates.
- Special Encouragement Award: This may be awarded to a noteworthy entry that doesn’t reach the silver but stands out among the bronze entries, accompanied by a certificate.
Who Can Apply?
- Open to non-Japanese manga artists or writers holding the necessary rights to their submissions.
- Both published and unpublished works over 16 pages long are eligible, provided they have been created within the last three years and have not previously won this award.

- Application Deadline: July 5, 2024.

Selection Process & Award Ceremony
After an initial review by the Association of Japanese Manga Publishers, the selection committee will choose the winners. The award ceremony is planned for early 2025 in Tokyo.
